David Michael Black, age 32, of Columbus, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at home. David was a 2004 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School and worked in the food industry for many years. He is preceded in death by his father Charles J. Black, grandparents Charles G. (Flo) Black and Vincent (Mary) Sansone. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Black; sister, Jennifer (Brian Simpson) Black; brother, Charles G. (Ashley) Black; nephews, Ryan C. and Jay B. Black; uncles and aunts, Jim (Patty) Sansone, Mike (Julie) Sansone, Tom (Theresa) Sansone, Yvonne (Bob) Gardner, Joe Black and Chris (Rachael) Black; many cousins and friends. His family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 3-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery), 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:30 p.m., for his funeral Mass. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
