Saint Francis DeSales High School is extremely excited to offer a varied slate of new classes for the 2018-2019 school year!
In a continued effort to provide students an opportunity to get real life experiences while at St. Francis DeSales, the journalism department expanded this year offering our first ever broadcast journalism class. Although in their inaugural year, these students are currently producing a weekly news broadcast which is shown in homeroom Friday mornings. In addition to honing their writing, camera, and computer editing skills, students are learning to use project boards to ensure deadlines are made, realizing the importance of delegation and teamwork, as well as improving their personal speaking skill set. If you would like to check out their broadcasts, check out their YouTube Channel: SFDTV St Francis DeSales HS!
