Dominic Pelino ‘11
Dominic Angelo Pelino age 32, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Grant Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 10, 1993 to Eugene and Lisa (Roettker) Pelino. Dominic brought so much love and laughter into every aspect of his life. Dominic served as an Army Ranger for ten years. His strength, courage, and unwavering loyalty to his brothers in arms were hallmarks of the man he became - disciplined, adventurous, and compassionate. Dominic lived life to its fullest. He loved fishing, hunting, hiking, and mountaineering. He summited Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, Mt Rainier, Mt. Olympus, Mt. Shasta and Mt. St. Helens; and planned to summit many more. He was an avid snowboarder and truly enjoyed the yearly sibling ski trip. He also enjoyed live music shows and traveling the world. He returned home to become a part of the Pelino's Pasta team with his brothers. He eventually became the General Manager of Pelino's Pasta, where he found joy in sharing his family's Italian heritage, food, and wine with others. His warmth and humor filled every room, and his generosity touched many lives. Dominic will forever be loved and missed by his parents, Eugene and Lisa; his siblings, Julia (Joe) Heitzenrater, Gina Gabriel, Vince (Christina) Pelino, Maria Pelino, Anthony (Ashley) Pelino, Anna Pelino, Carina (Mike) Lesko, Sara Pelino, Angelo Pelino, Alisa (Rizen) Fry; and his seventeen nieces and nephews, all who knew him, and especially by Lauren Sega whom he loved very deeply.
