James Butler ‘67

James Patrick Butler, age 75, of Columbus, OH, died July 27th, 2025 at his home, following health complications. 

On September 6th, 1949, he was born in Coshocton, Ohio the first son of the late John Butler and Patricia Wiggins. 

He was preceded in death by brothers Robert Butler and William Butler; and is survived by brothers Jeffery Butler and Kevin Butler, sister Marianne Gaitten, brother-in-law Donald Gaitten, and daughter Erin Butler. 

He graduated from DeSales High School and the University of Notre Dame. At the time of his passing he was retired from years as a security officer. Loved and missed by many.
