Sarah was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Ralph and Margaret Selhorst, Russ and Marian Thibaut and Grandma Jean.
Sarah was a bright, beautiful soul who left us too soon and we will be forever changed because of it.
Sarah attended 12 years of Catholic school, St. James the Less and St Francis DeSales High School, then proudly attended Vassar college with a degree in Art History where she met her lifelong friends, the Vassar girls, (and guy) whom she loves as family. Sarah then worked for her family business, succeeding in building it into a premier catering co. in the city. She loved her brides and her team and the art form of the wedding, the flowers, the colors, the style of it all. The fact that we were the FOOD people was of no consequence.
She didn’t own a pair of pants but could walk the hills of Rome or San Francisco in Stilettos.
Sarah lived her life to the fullest. She loved to travel; has been all around the world and met so many amazing people and experiences. Sarah never met an alley she was afraid to go down, or a new adventure she was afraid to try -from working as a tour guide at the Vatican to being a Burning Man regular. Sarah loved beauty as did her Grandma Jean, but Sarah loved it in the people she met and the experiences she had.
She had a kindness and softness about her but knew how to tango and sail all over the world. She was the smartest person in the room but so very charming. This world was too small for her.
