Sharon (Duckworth) Crawford ‘73

Sharon Marie Crawford, 70, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was born on February 22, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late William and Eleanor (Shirley) Duckworth.

She was a 1973 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School. Sharon chose to dedicate her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a home filled with love and laughter for her daughter, Angie. Many of you may have known her from behind the counter at Buckeye Outdoors, where she met several lifelong friends. She found joy spending time with those she loved, and she never missed an opportunity to gather with those she cherished most. Sharon was an avid fan of Ohio State Football. Her happiest days were spent on the front porch, enjoying lake views and listening to the sounds of music and fun going on around her.

Sharon is survived by her devoted daughter, Angela Crawford; brother-in-law, James M. Neal; nieces and nephews, Lisa Osborn, Brian Neal, Shawn (Valerie) Neal, Jeff Osborn, and Kimberly Dillbeck Neal; 8 great nieces and nephews; many close friends who will hold her memory dear; and her favorite furbaby, Lily. A special thank you to Alyssa Neal whose extra care and support meant so much during her final days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Neal.

Sharon’s laughter and love touched all who crossed her path. Her beautiful spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
