Steve Arnold ‘67
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Stephen Craig Arnold, who left us August 1, 2025, at the age of 77. A devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, Steve touched countless lives with his loyalty, humor, and boundless generosity
Born in 1947, Steve was a proud graduate of DeSales High School, where he etched his name into the school’s history as its first-ever state wrestling champion—a legacy of strength, perseverance, and determination that he carried throughout his life.
To those who knew him, Steve was the guy you could always count on. Fiercely loyal and endlessly selfless, he would do anything for anyone—whether family, friend, or stranger. His quick wit and ever-present jokes brought smiles wherever he went, lifting spirits and lightening the mood.
Steve loved golf, traveling, and—above all else—spending time with family and friends. His happiest moments were those shared around a table, a fire, or a fairway, surrounded by laughter and love.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Richard Arnold.
He is survived by his mother, June Arnold; brothers, Mike (Judy) Arnold and Jeff (Betty) Arnold; his beloved children, PJ (Emily) Arnold, Amy (Jessie) Arnold, and Peter (Julie) Arnold; and his cherished grandchildren: Nick, Craig, Alex, Zach, Angel, Leah, Josh, Iggy, and Jessie Elizabeth; and lifelong friends, Rich McCullough, Pat and Kitty Whitehead, Mike Boulware, and Mike and Sharon DeAscentis.
